Useful Organisations:

Mensa is an international organisation that is made up of and serves gifted individuals with an IQ that is in the top 2% of the population, with a branch in many countries including Australia. Mensans will be able to connect with others who have similar intellectual levels.
The Australian Association for the Education of GIfted and Talented (AAEGT) is a national organisation that is committed to furthering and supporting the development and gifted children in Australia. They have branches in each state and the website provides many resources and information about giftedness and their development.
Gifted NSW is a NGO affiliated with the Australian Association for the Education of GIfted and Talented (AAEGT), with a vision to support gifted children and their families in NSW. The organisation launches events to allow gifted children to connect with each other and workshops for professionals and parents to know more about how to support their gifted children.
Aurora College is a selective virtual school servicing rural and remote gifted students who do not have ready access to gifted education resources. Through Aurora College, gifted students in rural areas can connect with one another and can participate in courses to pursue their passion as well as join mentorship programs to connect with professionals.
